The beach is part sandy, part rocks.
Once you walk through the dunes, you will walk om the beach. Over the beach you end up on a concrete walking path. Next to this path there are rocks which end up in the sea. At several spots you can walk into the water using a stair.
There is a life guard post present.
Today (25 June 2024) there was a strong wind present. Despite being sunny and warm. Watch out when you go in the water!

The Seal Rescue Center is located in Norddeich.
Young seals can get lost from their mom. When they do, they are making a unique sound. This sound is special for the right mom to the right young seal. Most of the time the mom's will get back to their young ones. Occasionally they don't. The young ones keep crying for their mom's. When they are found by humans, the young ones will go to this Rescue Center. The people from this Rescue Center will feed and raise them. The goal will be to put the young seals back in their natural habitat.
In June 2024 there were 50-55 lost young seals at this Rescue Center. There were also 2 bigger ones present. The Rescue Center didn't know if they will get back to their natural habitat at all. The 2 seals don't show intention for their real habitat.
The seals will be fed at 11am and 3pm. Some will get liquid meals and others who are up to it, will get a yummy fish.

As a tea drinker/lover I had to go to this museum.
The museum is located in several buildings. It is easy to walk around. You will get a map so you can see where you are going and what room you are in.
It explains where the tea comes from, how it is made, which countries are the biggest producers (China is #1 and India #2), the porcelain & tea items various countries are using to make tea...
In general it is really nice to be here.

This museum displays old trades and toys.
There are 3 routes you are taking while being there. Route A and B are showing the old trades and route C is showing toys. It is easy to follow as it is one way direction. The people who work there said it will take about 45 minutes to see it all. But I stayed there nearly 2 hours. I found it really interesting to see it all.

Tv from the early stages
Clothing from around the 1900s
While walking around, you are able to touch items. Have a seat in the old school bank, let the printer put your name on a paper the old style, listen to the old radios....
The toys displayed are from the 1960s to 1980s. Not that old, but it brings memories back. There were a few toys I remembered having them myself. It gives you a smile. :)
