Windmill De Eendracht, Anjum, the Netherlands

 

The mill was build in 1889. It was used to make grain for decades. In 1965 it stopped forever.

Nowadays there is a tourist information inside the mill. Also there is a museum about the past of the mill, located over 6 floors. You are using stairs to go from one floor to another floor. Be aware: the stairs are very steep. When you go down, you should do it backwards. Sometimes one tread at the time. I only went for 4 floor. The stairs from floor 4 to 5 looked too steep and narrow for me. At the 3rd floor you can go outside to have a walk around the mill. When there is good weather, you will have great views. 

The entrance fee for the museum is € 2.
