Kerkepad Walk, Zeijen, The Netherlands

I saw a leaflet of this walk in the apartment I stayed in. The Kerkepad walk is a hike of 2 kilometer. It starts (and ends) at the apartment Gold'n Stee. The trail goes along the paddocks and a small forrest. Most of the trail it is a dirt road. A part is asphalt. 

You will pass some streams. There is also a Tjasker. This is the smallest windmill in the Netherlands. It is used to get rid of water in a puddle. When it is dry, people can get peat from this puddle. These days there are only 25 of these Tjaskers left in the Netherlands.

I did this walk on 28 March 2023. Allthough it was really chilly outside, once a while the sun came out. Made it much friendlier.
