Altastenberg is a small village near Winterberg. It is nearly 800 meters high in the region of Sauerland. In the winter you can go here for skiing and in the summertime you go here for walking.
I went for a walk (stroll) through the village. The village will give you an impression of how people are living over here. The views over the valleys are amazing! Lots of Christmas trees as well. Many to choose from... 😆 Getting into the spirit of Christmas.
As Altastenberg is soooo small, there is no backery, postoffice, gas station or grocery store. You have to go to bigger villages/towns/cities. There are quite a number of hotels, guest houses and apartments to choose from.
